It's Another Manic Monday! Can You Pass This Week's Grump Test???

The following are photos of "The Smitten kitten Groomer" mini zoo.  Our long haired cats Jasmine and Chanel go there occasionally and look stunning afterward.  They also have an incredibly nice boarding facility for cats.  I don't board our cats, but if I did, this is the place I would do it!

Below are some photos of her mini zoo including miniature pigs, goats, alpacas, and peacocks, as well as the boarding facility.

Thanks so much to all of you who wished Cleopatra well.  She is off antibiotics and gained almost a pound!

These are photos I took at the Homosassa State Park in Florida last weekend.  I doubt my photos or captions are that funny, but hopefully good enough to crack a smile :)

Look it's a manatee!
Actually, here's a real manatee.  Their closest relative is the elephant!   This park is a rescue and refuge for the endangered manatees.
This park is SO pretty and best of all the animals are VERY well taken care of!

I highly recommend visiting this park if you are ever in the Tampa, Florida area!

Oh No!!! It's Monday Can You Pass This Week's Grump Test?

It helps to hear the story behind these photos first:

In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth 

to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. 

Unfortunately, 
Due to complications in the pregnancy, 

the cubs were born prematurely 

and due to their tiny size, 

they died shortly after birth. 

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, 

suddenly started to decline in health, 
Although physically she was fine. 

The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter 

had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. 

The doctors decided 

that if the tigress could surrogate 

another mother's cubs, 

perhaps she would improve. 

After checking with many other zoos across the country,

 

the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs 

of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother.. 

The veterinarians decided to try something 

that had never been tried in a zoo environment. 

Sometimes a mother of one species 

will take on the care of a different species. 

The only orphans' that could be found quickly, 

were a litter of weanling pigs. 

The zoo keepers and vets 

wrapped the piglets in tiger skin 

and placed the babies around the mother tiger...

Now can someone please explain to me why the rest of the world can't get along?
